The Central Insecticides Board & Registration Committee (CIBRC) regulates the import, manufacture, sale, transport, and distribution of insecticides and certain multiuse chemical substances in India under the Insecticides Act, 1968. Any importer dealing with regulated chemicals must obtain a valid CIBRC Import Permit before bringing the material into India.
